When a husband doesn't care to make his wife happy, what must she do?

How long has this carelessness gone for?

It’s really important to make a difference between:

• A husband that is having a hard time at work or whatever
• And a husband that is genuinely an a**hole

If your husband has always been like that, then why did you sleep with him to begin with?

Since this question is rhetorical and has no good answer, we’ll assume that the husband was good to his wife at least at the beginning.

Since we are assuming that the husband changed overtime, before asking what the wife should “do”, we should ask “why and when did he start to change?”.

Women love to think that it’s couple related but it may not be the case.

If your husband is saying that it is not related to you, then tell him in an adult manner (no need for screams and tears) that he is making you pay and that someone as gentle as him is better than that.

No matter what he says then, you shouldn’t discuss. You planted the seed. Just say “I understand” and wait or go on with your stuff for the rest of the day.

If your husband is saying that it is your fault, ask him tell him in an adult manner (no need for screams and tears) what he means by that.

Women insist that men usually don’t listen to them. It might be true at times. But sometimes, we also need to say things without feeling the need to be “kind” or without being judged.

You have to understand, men are not really good to express their emotions. If we do it, it’s really hard to keep at it while answering your (maybe valid) many questions. It’s important not to interrupt the flow.

Now, as a wife what should you DO?

• Ask questions but try not to sound judgemental
• Give your feeling, try not to sound nagging. After all, you have the right to feel that way.
• Ask point blank “what should I do”?

Not all men speak love and kindness in the same manner.

Finding the right way to speak to your husband may be more important than the words or the actions you would be able to utter.
