Does money really buy happiness?

  • Distractions: It makes it easier to run from reality and yourself. Money can buy a lot of vacations, booze, drugs, activities, “things,” status, etc. All things that help you escape. Escapism isn’t happiness.
  • Freedom: It can buy freedom, which gives you “options.” Thats if you are aware enough to use it on your favor.
  • Fake ass friends: Hell, family for that matter. The real manipulative assholes are attracted to cash. The more you have the bigger the “parasite” you attract.
  • Experiences: It can and will buy some great experiences.

What money can’t buy…

  • Love: I mean, if you’re that shallow, you can believe it, but it will be on a superficial level. Most don’t even understand what true love is, and it has nothing to do with money.
  • Health: Yea, yea, yea. It can buy great insurance, but it won’t buy cures for many diseases, and poor choices. I don’t care how much money you have.
  • Quality: You can have a lot of many different things with money. Friends, family, lovers, connections, etc. It will never buy quality people or connections.
  • Common sense and character: Have you noticed some of the biggest assholes have money? Superficial again. People use money for everything “but” happiness. Enough said.

The minute you start “chasing” money is the minute you know you aren’t happy.

Chase a passion, and money will follow. Make sure it’s a true passion with purpose.

Most don’t even know what their passion is.

So many equate money with happiness, or money with a passion.

Listen, coming from a guy that’s made $12k a year to upwards of a $500k a year, it’s not about the money.

And you won’t understand this until you lived on both sides of the “track.”

Understand?

Money buys very little other than material things. But our society is conditioned to think money fixes it all, all we need is money, right!?

Money buys options, and freedom, not happiness, but that’s it.

If anyone tells you different, they are lying, or broke, with the same flawed thinking as you.
