CELEBRITIES WHO ARE STILL IN PRISON

Even celebrities are breaking the law. Many celebrities have gone to prison over the years, including comedian Tim Allen, local director Martha Stewart, and actor Kiefer Sutherland. A good chunk of these stars has committed minor offenses including DUI cases or financial crimes. They use shorter sentences and (but not always) are able to continue their lives where they left off. The public can be very forgiving when it comes to those who make their time and repent of their crimes.

Then there are celebrities whose criminal activity is completely different, requiring years in prison. They have committed a heinous crime, almost to the point where fans can forget what they did. The men and women on this list are involved in sex crime, smuggling too many drugs, and even committing suicide. Some admit to breaking the law, while others continue to maintain their chastity. In any case, they are stuck behind bars for too long.

There was a re-trial in 2018, and Cosby was found guilty of three counts of gross misconduct, receiving a three- to 10-year sentence for assaulting a Philadelphia woman in 2004. Cosby has denied the allegations. In 2019, he said in an interview that he would like to stay in prison for ten years and admit to something he did not do.
